&lt;p&gt;The idea was to offer a guide relatively synthetic, practical, bound for the companies and produced by professionals often such impassioned and sometimes blogueurs, who work in the medium of the E-reputation.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;The work thus joined together more than 20 authors who answer the questions such as: “Which stakes for the companies on the Social Web? ”, “How to measure the E-reputation? ”, “Which is the return on investment of a strategy of management of its reputation on line? ”, “Which devices to implement to measure the social Web?” …&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is thus with much pleasure that I took the &lt;span style="text-decoration: line-through;"&gt;feather&lt;/span&gt; my keyboard Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 V2.0 to consider the subject and to answer the two following questions (items 1) and 2))&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1) Which stakes (opportunities, threats) for the companies in the social Web?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Web 2 died, lives the social Web, and soon which knows, the semantic Web.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Facebook, Twitter, YouTube: the business firms (even institutions) invade from now on numerical spaces in search of lost advertizing profitability or all at least degraded.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Which are the threats?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;They are clear: not to control its image more. Deadened by decades during which the companies reigned on spaces of communication with blow of press releases and commercials, the communicating ones discovered the secrecy of Web 2: a cost quasi no one of publication and information circulation. The passage of the physical model (clipboard) and&lt;br /&gt; advertizing executive (tele amongst other things) with the digital model of information circulation completely upset gives it. To publish information once takes time. To republish almost ad infinitum remains a not very expensive challenge accessible to all.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;The companies feel dispossessed of their image (see “Wikipedia cannibalize the image of the companies of CAC 40” by Euro RSCG). They discover that it is not possible any more not to be ethical, not to be “sustainable development”, to sell bad products with debatable techniques. The single media 60 million consumers (the newspaper, the site) replaced the voice of this 60 million consumers who can express themselves, and who, even if it is still minoritairement, express themselves on Internet.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Finally the social Web is media of desintermediarisation. The company is vis-a-vis its customers in same space and cannot escape from it.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;And then how can they benefit from it?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Can the true east question they benefit from it? Will the Net surfers let them they control a space which does not belong to them?&lt;br /&gt; Opportunities do not rest in the social media. They rest in the change of posture. Exit the signal to bottom, the company must form part of a space, without accepting themselves the top as of others, while being available and while being honest. The word is launched.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Then obviously there are commercial opportunities. Obviously one can “buzzer” and to sell. Because yes, all the Net surfers are not mature. Yes one can make advertizing more profitable than elsewhere.&lt;br /&gt; But with terms the true step of presence on the social Web it will be especially: there to be, be with listening and to make that the discussion on the social media has a real impact on the behavior of the company. Thus the companies will be able&lt;br /&gt; to maximize the opportunities offered by the social Web when they see in the “insights” that they quote wrongly and through, another thing that means of identifying produced tracks of development “bankables”.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2) How to measure the E-reputation of a company?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;It is a subject which I am fond of particularly and which I had the occasion to treat on several occasions.&lt;br /&gt; And the answer is simple. To measure the E-reputation there is one means: the survey.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;I often read that one can measure the ereputation in “counting” tickets or making relative requests in the name of a mark. But it is a big mistake.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;This error transposed in the real-world would consist in saying that all those which are not expressed in media on you do not have an opinion on your mark, your company.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;The e-reputation should be well what the Net surfers of you think and which is the impact of media Internet on your total reputation.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;To segment E-reputation and reputation finally very short is to think that a Net surfer does not have an opinion of you through other media.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;In short, the E-reputation is a a little smoky neologism, sociologiquement wobbly and statistically nonwhich occurred. There is no numerical reputation. There is a reputation very short.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;And I repeat it the only way of measurement his E-reputation is:&lt;br /&gt; - To build a sample of people according to the method of the quotas or other (CSP, age, geographical location, share of Net surfer equivalent to the population mother)&lt;br /&gt; - To question them on the image which they have of you&lt;br /&gt; - To try to know by which media this image was worked.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;With final, I see more in the E-reputation such as it takes shape in the professional practices (consultants, companies) means of action on this total reputation: I listen (social media monitoring), I identify (negative axes to improve in my image, leaders), I acted (or not).&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;The e-reputation, it is finally to manage those which are expressed and to smooth its communication (cleaning, referencing, suppression of sites) or to build it (community managment, engagement, honesty).&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3) And to finish some quotations with the flight:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <content:encoded>&lt;p&gt;In this ticket, I will describe two brakes with the use of &lt;span style="color: #000000;"&gt;software of day before of opinion and reputation; the editors I think will not want to be any to point finger the major weaknesses of the tools, well-known for any watcher who respects himself.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Between the collection, the treatment and the analysis of information, I treat here only search for information, which is the initial stage of any opinion day before (of bad techniques of research = of the nonrelevant results =des analyses beside plate etc…)&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Most software propose to you to question sources qualified and relevant through an interface of interrogation of the sources by key words. To have tested many solutions, I hold to shout high and strong (and thank you Frederic to allow it to me) that for me, two blocking points are sufficient for me to pass some&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: #008000;"&gt;1. Your target spheres have little chance to be represented.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt; The majority of the software proposes to you to question using key words a preset corpus of source. Out there is little chance that this representativeness of sources really corresponds to &lt;strong&gt;your requirements in sales leaflets&lt;/strong&gt;: as we already underlined it at the time &lt;a href="http://www.actulligence.com/2009/06/24/comment-choisir-le-bon-outil/" target="_blank"&gt;Frederic&lt;/a&gt;, the editors are constrained to set up of the “generic” corpora and little personnalisables: “&lt;em&gt;economic reality the constrained one to develop generic software whose personalization is limited and sometimes even left to load of the users by the choice of the sources integrate, only possibility of customisation of the tool&lt;/em&gt; “. &lt;p&gt;The communities of Net surfers and the recipients which are clean for you thus have little chance to appear in the corpus of sources of the software. &lt;strong&gt;That the software indexes 5,000.30 000 or even 60,000 sources imports little, if spaces on which your communities are described are not taken into account: you will pass to with dimensions.&lt;/strong&gt; It is thus necessary to develop the indexing of social spaces of your community and to integrate them in the middle of your strategy of research.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color: #008000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2.    “Your Web” is moving permanent&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: #008000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt; One of the elements of success of the use of a software of day before specialized is thus the speed with which you can integrate sources in the corpus. At the beginning of the use of the software, you ensure that spaces on which your communities are described are well integrated into the corpus (or which you can integrate them yourselves)! As there is every day (or at least months), of new sources which interest you, it is absolutely necessary to be able to integrate them progressively. If the corpus of sources is static, it will correspond to your environment Web at a time T. If one cannot integrate the monitoring of a new petition on line, a Facebook group or a blog at once, it is not worthwhile (especially for the days before of crises, and not counting the time of the indexing….)&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Certain editors fortunately propose to integrate into the beginning and progressively your own sources in the tool for collection. But that costs very expensive because it is necessary to take into account of the data-processing development! The more so as the Web being space in constant change, it implies a continuous data-processing development, “a kind of technological race” or the uses always have a time in advance. The integration of source, a challenge to take up.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color: #008000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Then how to make?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color: #008000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;From these two major brakes, one of the solutions is to pass by &lt;strong&gt;software which absolutely integrates “open” research i.e which uses the search engines to detect the expressions on line&lt;/strong&gt;. This method makes it possible not to be based on a preset, fixed and not-evolutionary corpus, and to pass in addition to continuous technological developments. Thus one detects the tendencies, the weak signals, one discovers the new universes of discussion, the new elements of languages, the new sources of the communities; one remains thus open to dynamic of opinion….&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That made from now on many years that Camille is blogueuse highly skilled in the sector of the day before on Internet and the E-reputation. It created its blog, &lt;a href="http://www.veilledopinion.fr" target="_blank"&gt;Kamablog, VeilleDOpinion.fr&lt;/a&gt; in November 2006 whereas it was still student with the ISTIA of Angers in &lt;a href="http://www.istia.univ-angers.fr/Innovation/masterinfo/presentation.php" target="_blank"&gt;master strategic information&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Since it a leading line of quality holds publishing seldom but regularly and taking time to write each one of its blilets to provide us his point of view of, his analysis.&lt;/p&gt;

But, in the world of undertaken, how are the steps of day before or economic intelligence according to the name accommodated which one wants to give them? How are they deployed and which are the engines and the brakes in the projects of installation of cells of day before?&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;First of all, it seems important to make a short recall on &lt;a title="Definitions D el' intelligence economic" href="http://www.actulligence.com/ressources/definitions-de-lintelligence-economique/" target="_self"&gt;what is the economic intelligence&lt;/a&gt; because of many difficulties are met on name itself.&lt;br /&gt; By economic intelligence, one understands the whole of the processes of collection, of useful treatment and information circulation, in coherence with the strategic objectives of the company, for their exploitation, with the economic actors'” &lt;a href="#notes" target="_self"&gt;(1)&lt;/a&gt;. This definition emitted in the “&lt;a href="http://www.actulligence.com/ressources/telechargement/?did=26" target="_blank"&gt;Report Marten&lt;/a&gt; “, Henri Martre specifies in addition that an economic step of intelligence must allow the security of the informational inheritance of the company. Any step of economic intelligence must be carried out in the strict respect of the legislation.&lt;br /&gt; One consequently understands the various problems met at the time of the installation from an economic device of intelligence. The economic step of intelligence must be in adequacy with the continuation of the strategic objectives of the company. That under hears that the strategy of the company to minima is formalized and can be exposed with (X) responsible (S) the economic intelligence.&lt;/p&gt;

All the projects of economic intelligence are thus confronted with the problems of division of information and the rights of access.&lt;br /&gt; There is no done everything solution because the importance of this brake is closely related to the culture of the company. One will find this brake in an important way in the companies of the sector of finance and also in the industrial environment in which the importance of the secrecy is often proportional to the investments in R &amp;amp; D authorized.&lt;br /&gt; To decrease the impact of this brake it will have to be taken care so that information evening divided and diffused but in a limited way, with those which will have a direct utility of it. &lt;p&gt;Thus within the framework of my projects I tried to build a grid of quotation of the risks for a ticket published on the Web and mentioning in evil the aforementioned undertaken.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;The Type of sources. &lt;p&gt;First of all Olivier Buquen, who before becoming our Mr Economic Intelligence worked like Vice President at &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&amp;#38;key=25201894&amp;#38;authToken=IXl-&amp;#38;authType=NAME_SEARCH&amp;#38;locale=en_US&amp;#38;srchindex=1&amp;#38;srchid=dd602996-affb-4538-b84b-380f6c577305&amp;#38;srchtotal=1&amp;#38;pvs=ps&amp;#38;goback=.fps_olivier+buquen_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_Y_*1_*1_*1_false_1_R_true_CC%2CN%2CI%2CG%2CPC%2CED%2CFG%2CL%2CDR_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2_*2" target="_blank"&gt;Plastic Omnium&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; and which was also responsible for the Business Development between 2002 and 2004 and 2008 and 2010.&lt;/p&gt;

It is about &lt;a href="http://www.linkedin.com/ppl/webprofile?vmi=&amp;#38;id=1017516&amp;#38;pvs=pp&amp;#38;authToken=UZ7i&amp;#38;authType=name&amp;#38;locale=en_US&amp;#38;trk=ppro_viewmore&amp;#38;lnk=vw_pprofile" target="_blank"&gt;Pierre Christophorov&lt;/a&gt; who on its side was also senior associate between 1997 and 2004 at… &lt;strong&gt;Mercer Consulting Management&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Useless to specify that one finds &lt;a href="http://www.autoplasticgate.com/gpa/pdf/2385_rapportd-activit%C3%A92006.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;several&lt;/a&gt; intersections between &lt;strong&gt;Mercer Management Consulting&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Plastic Omnium&lt;/strong&gt;. The two companies had obviously business connections.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;It is owl nevertheless the social networks. One can look at what people did in the life, knowledge which they crossed in their professional paths. In fact, Facebook it is much less useful than the professional social networks….&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Finally here is, the project has quite advanced and not later that this morning, Mr Buquen presented in front of a floor of professionals of the economic intelligence, the &lt;a href="http://fjb.blogs.com/weblog/2010/06/quelle-politique-dintelligence-%C3%A9conomique-au-service-de-la-s%C3%A9curit%C3%A9-nationale-.html" target="_blank"&gt;new public policy of&lt;/a&gt; French &lt;a href="http://fjb.blogs.com/weblog/2010/06/quelle-politique-dintelligence-%C3%A9conomique-au-service-de-la-s%C3%A9curit%C3%A9-nationale-.html" target="_blank"&gt;economic intelligence&lt;/a&gt;. Wait &amp;amp; see…!!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the ecosystem of the Web, one speaks much about “blogs influential” and “influenceurs”. In particular in the trade of the day before, in which it is very important to know to treat on a hierarchical basis the sources to avoid finishing asphyxiated by its wire RSS.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Very well. Only do these influenceurs they influence which? In connection with what? How do they make? Many would like to become “influenceurs”, this beings quasi-divine to which one lends the power to mobilize connected crowd (and I said “connected well”). I do not claim to answer all that in a ticket, but only to give some ideas which come me to mind, resulting from my daily observations.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Already, the influence that does not want large thing. Of course, there exist blogs extremely read, which make authority in their field, held by specialists, who constitute network nodes impossible to circumvent. No the problem. By unearthing certain information, while carrying a lit analysis, they can make reflect the readers, mobilize them, even make go up a subject in the traditional mediums.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Only, it is necessary to take guard with the deforming prism: I do not have figures under the hand, but even the first blogs of the classification Wikio (a little Graal any bloguor worthy of this name… even if there would be no badly things to say on this famous classification) will almost never reach Mrs Michu which hears of “buzz” only to the tv news.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;When a bloguor is described as influential, it is necessary to keep in mind which its prose relates to only one negligible part of the population. And still, one can be “influential” within a specific community (the specialist in the news technos, the specialist in the growth in cactus, etc) and not in another (not sure that the blogueurs of the “Political” category of Wikio receive many backlinks on the part of the blogueurs “Scrapbooking”. Finally I say that…).&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;On the other hand, an interesting positioning, and about which one speaks much less, it is that of the relay of opinion: a blog, with the intersection of different communities, able to make circulate information between the public ones which, usually, do not have anything to say themselves on line. It is the case of the blogs of economic or legal popularization for example. Or of the specialized journalists.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;To finish, some words about of the aforesaid measurement influences: Attention with the fair promisess. It can be reassuring to see in front of oneself beautiful indicators (scores of influence and others), but often, these indicators mix actually bits and pixels and do not want inevitably to say large thing (concretely, to add PageRank, the number of comments and I pass from there…).&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;Moreover, it is impossible to set up a methodology of coherent measurement because, the Web being characterized above all by the richness and the diversity of its spaces of expression, he is quite simply heretic to compare the site of a national daily newspaper (with an inevitably exponential audience of share its democratization) with a blog and his hundreds of daily readers…&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;To know which counts on line, on which subjects, it is important, it is obvious. But to know to keep the measurement of the things and to adapt our traditional diagrams of thought to this new space of expression which is the Web is also.&lt;/p&gt;
