The Ministry of Education generated the 2002 Campaign of Reading, Scripture and Matemática (LEM) whose intention is to improve the basic learnings in Mathematical Language and of children and children from the Second Level of Transition to Fourth Basic year.

These skills are considered strategic learnings, since they are fundamental to understand, to face and to participate in the world, besides being keys in the access to the other disciplines of the knowledge. (To see more)
